Refund/Cancellation Policy

At Girlhood, we work hard to create thoughtful, high-quality events and experiences for our community. As many of our events involve advance planning, venue commitments and limited-capacity bookings, please read our policy carefully before purchasing a ticket.

By purchasing a ticket to a Girlhood event, you agree to the terms below.

1. Tickets Are Non-Refundable by Default

All event tickets are non-refundable.

This is because we often commit costs in advance, including venue hire, staffing, materials, deposits and supplier bookings.

2. If You Can No Longer Attend

If you are no longer able to attend an event, please contact us as soon as possible via email or Instagram DM with your full name, event name and booking details.

Where possible, we will always try to help.

3. Refund Requests More Than 72 Hours Before the Event

If you notify us more than 72 hours before the event start time, and:

  • the event is sold out, and

  • there is demand or a waiting list for tickets,

we may re-list your ticket space on our website.

If your ticket is successfully resold, we will issue a refund to your original payment method.

Please note:

  • Refunds are not guaranteed

  • A refund can only be processed once the ticket has been successfully rebooked

  • Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider

4. Within 72 Hours of the Event

Refunds, transfers or exchanges requested within 72 hours of the event are not guaranteed and will usually not be possible due to final event arrangements.

5. Transfers to Another Person

If you can no longer attend, you may request to transfer your ticket to a friend. This must be agreed with us in advance so we can update the guest list.

We reserve the right to refuse transfers where necessary. Transfers may only be provided to people who identify as women and are 18+.

6. If We Cancel or Reschedule an Event

If Girlhood cancels an event, you will be offered:

  • a full refund, or

  • a transfer to a rescheduled date (where applicable)

If an event is rescheduled and you cannot attend the new date, we will provide options at that time.

7. Late Arrivals / No Shows

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for:

  • no shows

  • late arrivals

  • choosing not to attend

  • change of mind after purchase

8. Exceptional Circumstances

We understand unexpected situations happen. In exceptional circumstances, any refund or credit offered is entirely at our discretion.

We may update this policy from time to time. The version in place at the time of booking will apply to your purchase.
