Frequently Asked Questions

  • Joining one of our events is easy! Simply visit our 'What's On' page, choose an activity that interests you and sign up.

We can't wait to see you there! <3

  • No! At Girlhood, one of our core values is to provide an accessible platform for you to meet new people and try something new. That's why our Signature Sunday walks are free of charge. We're continually working behind the scenes to expand our range of free events, aiming to break down barriers for people who would like to come but may not be able to afford it,

While we'd love to offer every event for free, I'm sure you can understand that as a small business, this isn't feasible. However, we strive to keep our events as affordable as possible while supporting the local independents we collaborate with and covering our overhead costs.

By attending a Girlhood event or even engaging with our content on social media, you are helping us continue to put on great events and keep costs down as much as possible. Thank you for your support!

  • Of course! We are an inclusive collective, open to all the gals and LQBTQ+ pals.

  • Tickets may be transferred to another individual, provided they are 18+ and identify as a woman. Girlhood is unable to issue refunds unless the event is cancelled. Tickets may not be added to the waitlist within 72 hours prior to the event. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to arrange any ticket transfers and to notify Girlhood of any changes to attendee details.

We recommend using our group chats on WhatsApp (linked in bio on our linktree) to promote your ticket and facilitate the transfer.

  • Due to our insurance policy, our events are for participants aged 18 and over. However, there is no maximum age limit— in fact, we've had three generations join us on a walk before! We'd love to see you there <3

  • Yes! We completely understand that attending an event alone can feel daunting, but rest assured, 99% of our community members come solo! Please don't let this discourage you.

To ease any anxieties, we highly recommend using our group chats on CLIQ to introduce yourself and get to know other attendees before the event. You'll be part of our welcoming and friendly community in no time!

  • Ah we're so sorry the event is fully booked! We suggest joining the waitlist and we'll email you as soon as a ticket becomes available.

  • Absolutely! If you have any specific accessibility requirements or questions, feel free to email us at hello@girlswhowalkmcr.co.uk. We strive to ensure everyone has a fantastic experience at Girlhood events, so please do let us know how we can best support you.

Our Signature Sunday walks to Peel Park and Heaton Park are wheelchair accessible. For any other event, please check the specific event page for detailed venue information.
