we’re so excited to be launching the girlhood hiking club with a gentle, guided group hike through the peak district - created for anyone who’s craving fresh air, movement and meaningful connection 🌄

this is all about slowing down, getting outside and doing something just for you. no pressure to be a regular hiker, just a supportive group of girls walking, chatting, and enjoying the views together 🤍

the route will be a beautiful circular walk around bamford edge and stanage edge, led by experienced guides from summit collective so you’ll feel safe, supported and looked after every step of the way ✨

we’re also proud to be partnering with mind, with 100% of ticket proceeds going directly to support mental health 💚

• bamford edge & stanage edge circular

• 8.85km

• 325m elevation

• starting at bamford train station

• saturday 31st january

• meet at 9:00am

what to bring & wear 🧤🧥

wrap up cosy 🤍 we recommend bringing:

• decent hiking boots or walking shoes

• a waterproof jacket

• a backpack

• spare socks

• a warm fleece

• a packed lunch (if you’re not eating at a café or pub) + lots of snacks

• plenty of water

• a portable charger

post-hike plans ☕️🥐

there are some gorgeous spots nearby to refuel after the walk — including the wild kettle café near the train station, bamford bakery up the road, or the super cosy yorkshire bridge inn if you fancy a pub. we’ll go with whatever the group feels like on the day ✨

Ticket Policy

If you can no longer attend, please let us know so we can release your space to someone else on the waitlist.

Arrival & Timing

The event will begin at 9:00, and you are welcome to join from then. Please arrive promptly as the walk will start shortly after.

Event Experience

Girlhood is not responsible for the conduct of other attendees, but we are committed to creating a safe, positive, and inclusive space.

Food & Drink

Food and drink are not included in the event.

Photography & Filming

By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed. These images may be used on Girlhood’s social media, website, and promotional materials.
If you prefer not to appear in photos, please let a member of our team know on arrival.
