Terms & Conditions

Ticket Policy

All tickets are non-refundable. Girlhood is unable to issue refunds unless the event is cancelled. In the unlikely event of a cancellation, ticket holders will be contacted via email.

Ticket Transfers:
Tickets may be transferred to another individual, provided they are aged 18+ and identify as a woman. Tickets will not be added to the waitlist within 72 hours of the event. It is the responsibility of the original ticket holder to arrange any transfer and notify Girlhood of updated attendee details.

Arrival & Timing

The class will begin promptly shortly after 18:30. Doors will open at 18:25 to allow guests time to arrive, get settled, and find their space.
Late arrivals may miss part or all of the session, and partial refunds cannot be offered.

Food & Drink

Food will be provided by Balance Kitchen Manchester, as per your order placed at checkout. Please ensure any dietary requirements are submitted via the checkout form.
Girlhood UK is not responsible for the preparation or catering of food.

Location & Accessibility

Space at the Mill studio is located on the 2nd floor of Wellington Mill, Duke Street, Manchester, M3 4NF.

Please note:

  • There is no on-site parking; paid on-street parking is available nearby

  • The venue requires navigating stairs and may not be fully accessible

  • Please allow extra travel time if unfamiliar with the location

The venue has a small changing area, toilets, and sinks available for use.

Photography & Filming

By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed during the event. These images may be used across Girlhood, Balance Kitchen, and Emma Thorlby’s social media, websites, and promotional materials.

If you prefer not to appear in photos or videos, please inform a member of the Girlhood team upon arrival.

Behaviour & Conduct

We aim to create a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment for all attendees. Any disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the event without refund.

Please treat our team, instructors, venue staff, and fellow attendees with kindness and respect at all times.

Liability

Girlhood and Emma Thorlby are not responsible for any injuries, damages, medical incidents, or losses incurred during the event. While beginner-friendly options will be available, participation in all activities is at your own discretion.

Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically and medically fit to take part and should notify the team of any relevant injuries, conditions, or concerns prior to the session.

All attendees must follow instructions provided by the Girlhood team, Emma Thorlby, and venue staff throughout the evening to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
